Bladex is considered a regional or multilateral risk by most of the Latin American Central Banks, as well as the central banks of Spain, France, the United States of America, Japan and the United Kingdom.

The banks operating under the jurisdiction of these OECD country's Central Banks do not require the allocation of special provisions for operations considered as Bladex risk.
